About IGF-1 LR3
IGF-1 LR3 is a modified form of IGF-1 with an arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid extension. These changes reduce its binding to IGF-binding proteins, so it remains active far longer than native IGF-1. It is widely used in cell-culture research.
